Based on the award-winning Headland Utility-X Cargo rack design, the Utility-X Pannier features square shaped side supports made of 6061 aluminum rods. While other pannier designs often incorporate triangular pannier supports, Headland noticed that these designs didn't support the square shape of most panniers on the market,,that square panniers loaded on a rack with triangular side supports resulted in the panniers wrapping around the rack,into the wheel.
