If you're going to compete at the highest levels, don't compromise your potential with a weighty guy's twin-tip ski. Unlike so many inflexible boy-toy twins, the Scratch Girl BC has a patented weight reduction system (WRS) that changes the ski flex to a softer feel as you move down to shorter sizes. Rossignol reinforced the ski with a Mini Rossitop cap that makes the top surface more resistant to the sorts of moves that usually chip other ski decks. Another nice innovation is the three different mounting point positions that allow you to go for extreme, tradition or a more alpine-oriented backcountry style.
